Lifelines Coaches

Mark Lovejoy

Mark and his wife Alicia have been in Utah for 6 years, working with Lifelines for 3 of those.  Mark is certified through the American Mountaineering Guide Association as a single pitch instructor and he and Alicia both are certified Wilderness First Responders through the Wilderness Medicine Institute.  Having grown up in Alaska, Mark has always had a passion for skiing and all things outdoors.  Moving to Utah has heightened his interest in connecting with college students through outdoor experiences.  Both Mark and Alicia graduated from the University of Idaho, Mark with a bachelors in Civil Engineerinig and Alicia with a BFA in Interior Architecture.  They felt called into fulltime vocational ministry after working in their fields of study for three years, but also felt the tug of their passion for the outdoors.  Lifelines has answered many of their desires to see people reached with the gospel through outdoor activities.  What better venue is there for sharing the good news of Christ than his own creation?!  They both love to be outside, whether it's camping as a family with their three boys or hiking in a solitary place together!
