Outdoor Activities
Hiking: Acadia National Park hosts 125 miles of trails, all with stunning scenery and ocean views. Whether you are scaling the Precipice or summiting Cadillac, you will be struck by the natural beauty of Acadia.
Rock climbing: Acadia boasts some of the most premier rock climbing on the east coast. You will agree when you are rappelling over the edge of Otter Cliff to the ocean below! Even the bouldering on the edge of the Atlantic is an experience not to be missed. Whether you are a seasoned climber or a novice, there is a climb ready for you.
Biking: The carriage roads in the park, built by Rockefeller himself, are not to be missed. Winding around lakes and over hills, through woods and under and over ornate stone bridges, more than 40 miles of wilderness riding beckons. However, our biking won't be limited to the carriage trails... but you will have to come and see!
Sea Kayaking: The Maine coast is even more captivating from the ocean. We will spend an overnight sea kayaking around the islands in Stonington, Maine, just west of Mount Desert. The seals, the seaweed, the lapping of the tide, the sparkle of the water, the gulls, the verdant islands and rocky points,... adventurers are enticed to Maine by the ocean, and sea kayaking is the best way to experience it.
